Introducing our Viva la Novella IV Editor

Happy Lunar New Year!

And happy new editor. Joining us this year for Viva La Novella IV we have Tom Langshaw who was selected from over forty applications to become judge, jury and publisher for this year’s competition.

Tom Langshaw works as an editorial and publishing assistant at Penguin Random House, where he coordinates, administers and liaises. He also reads, compulsively: books and manuscripts, gossip magazines at supermarket check-outs, Cher’s tweets, Fantales wrappers. He has interned at Sydney Writers’ Festival and assisted with the National Young Writers’ Festival. Tom lives in Sydney’s Inner West and you can find him on twitter, @tomlangshaw.

Tom and I have spent our summer breaks diving into the pool of novellas submitted (over 100 all told) and are getting close to selecting the winners – we will be getting in touch with all entrants in the next few weeks.

This opportunity has been made possible by the support of IPEd and the NSW Society of Editors.
