Jocelyn Deane was born in London, 1993, and moved to Sydney in 2001. He lived there for adolescence and began writing, though the two are not necessarily connected. In 2013 he was shortlisted for the inaugural 457 prize in poetry. Currently, he lives in Melbourne studying Formal Logic and Linguistics at the eponymous university and has had work published in Ginosko literary magazine, Australian Poetry, Phantasmagoria, Ogre magazine and Farrago. He blogs at Darkly, Scanner, Lovelace, Tanya and works as a part-time journalist.
