Rachel McEleney is a wanderer at heart who came to Australia for a year—18 years ago. She lives in Bunbury, Western Australia and is currently working on a PhD in Australian Gothic. She is inspired by the beauty of the Southwest bush. Her short stories have been published in Stringybark Ghostly Stories, ABC’s Pocketdocs, and Flying South Anthology. Her poetry has appeared in Perth on Trove’s Poets’ Corner and between the pages of An Alphabetical Amulet.
