Patrick Goujon

Born in 1978, Patrick Goujon grew up in the suburbs of Paris. His first novel, Moi non, was published by Gallimard in 2003 and awarded the Bleustein-Blanchet Prize. Moi non was followed by Carnet d’absences (2005), Hier dernier (2008) and A l’arrache (2011), also published by Gallimard. As well as writing novels and young-adult fiction, Goujon has written plays for the theatre and for dance productions, notably with the Centre National du Théâtre and the Chartreuse in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. His second play was performed at the Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier in Paris. Goujon runs writing workshops alongside his artistic pursuits.
