Rebecca Gould

Rebecca Gould is a writer, scholar and translator of Persian, Russian and Georgian poetry. Her translations include The Prose of the Mountains: Tales of the Caucasus (Central European University Press, 2015) and After Tomorrow the Days Disappear: Ghazals and Other Poems of Hasan Sijzi of Delhi (Northwestern University Press, 2016). She is also the author of Writers and Rebels: The Literature of Insurgency in the Caucasus (Yale University Press, 2016). Gould has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Association of Literary Translators.
