David Mark Henley was born in the North Island of New Zealand in 1978 and has lived most of his life in Australia. He briefly attended university before pursuing a career in techno-grifting and establishing a successful design and production company. His first book was published in 2007, under the pseudonym Terence Bumbly, and a little later in the same year The Story So Far was released. He fears being pidgeonholed so there'll be plenty more pseudonyms in the future. Besides writing and drawing he dabbles in all creative fields.
